I listened to What You Are Looking For Is In The Library by Michiko Aoyama which works for S-N-A-K-E. I enjoyed it.

My movie theater started selling Gummy Snakes in the concession stand this summer. It's really weird.

I was wondering if you have ever heard of the Andy Carpenter series by David Rosenfelt? It's a long running mystery series set in Northern New Jersey and the lawyer has a beloved Golden Retriever
Unlike Dean Koontz 's dogs the dogs in his books seem to be just regular dogs but make regular appearances in the series. Also the author like Koontz really loves the breed.

I just thought it was interesting that another author loves golden retrievers so much that he started a foundation and includes them in his books

Anyway have always meant to give the series a try but for some reason I haven't yet. Curious to hear your thoughts on it.

I have never heard of him or the series but sounds interesting.

I finished All the Colors of the Dark by Chris Whitaker. It's a Read with Jenna book and I loved it. I had put it off due to the length. I need to stop being intimidated by long books! Sometimes they are some of the best stories.

I've never heard of Andy Carpenter/David Rosenfelt, but really I don't branch out much. Everything new that I'm introduced to seems to be through the seasonal challenges of this group :-)

Finished Unlikely Animals by Annie Hartnett for S-N-A-K-E in the title/subtitle. This is my second book by the author and I really like how she tells a story. Definitely quirky.

I listened to Chain Gang All Stars by Nana Kwame Adeji-Brenya which was a read with Jenna book. It was good

I listened to Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark by Alvin Schwartz which works for S-N-A-K-E. It was good!

Reread the novella The Grownup by Gillian Flynn. Enjoyed it more the second time. I miss her writing-hope she writes another book someday.

I read The Many Daughters of Afong Moy by Jamie Ford which was a read with Jenna book. It was ok. One of my favorites was written by him, Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet.

This morning, I finished re-reading Jenny Lawson's Furiously Happy: A Funny Book About Horrible Things. Using the subtitle, it contains the letters for SNAKE. This was my third time reading the book.

The Correspondent by Virginia Evans

I listened to Shawshank Redemption by Stephen King, it was great, I’ve never read it and that is one movie I’ve actually seen.

Ugh. Sometimes goodreads is hard to use when I'm using my phone. It's making it hard to respond directly to comments even though i was able to do that before.

I put a hold on The Once and Future Me, 8 week wait Hemlock & Silver is 11 weeks. Both through the Libby app. And those holds will work in the time frame. I’m going to visit the library soon and look into the other books. The wait time for The Favorites is 23 weeks and several months for The Correspondent, I’m 73rd in line. I’ll see what the library has to offer.

I listened to Everything’s Eventful by Stephen King. I enjoyed all the stories but Autopsy Room 4 freaked me out the most.

Yes. That is why I'm on here so infrequently.
Goodreads is much easier to use on a PC than through the phone app. Goodreads is almost the only thing I use my laptop for anymore.
