Goodreads Librarians Group discussion

I just purchased this book yesterday and was adding it to my shelves. I ended up finding it on here by using the ISBN-10, and then noticed that the ISBN-13 is wrong. There are a couple of numbers transposed, but as a librarian I can't fix it, so I was wondering where to send a request to do so.

On the off chance someone reading this has the authorization to do so, the correct ISBN is 9781817998265.

Heather, there is a formula for the ISBN 13 to be created. The ISBN that is on your book is actually invalid. This happens sometimes. I have seen where later printings correct the issue, but not always.

According to that the "check data" of your book should be "1". I learned long ago that just changing the one digit doesn't help. It just goes on to the next problem, and there are always more problems.
Whenever I create books I always use this.
