* Description:
Levente Wágner (1897–1977), a First World War veteran and reserve second lieutenant engineer, presents an authentic diary from the Don front. Summoned by a SAS call-up order, he travelled to the war zone with the 205th Labour Command Unit and approximately 400 Jewish forced labourers. The diary covers the period from 8 September 1942 to 19 February 1943.
