Done but there was a lot more wrong with this book than a missing page count & atm there are only two librarians going back to try to catch up on missing page counts.

If your book has issues please post in the Book Issues & Author Pages folder.

The page count can be done there at the same time.

I didn't realize there was more to this than just the page count which is what I was addressing. I don't have the book at hand anymore so I'm sorry but I'm lost as to what issues you were referring to. Sorry. :-(

I had to laugh a little when I read your note that there was a lot more wrong with this book and I wondered if you were looking at the copy I held in my hands as I submitted the request. It was a library copy and it did indeed have more wrong with it. The spine was broken in several places and it was in sad shape.

there was a lot more wrong than this but the most obvious was that the title fields were different than usual & the book description was obviously someone selling a secondhand book. (I changed to the description from another edition & corrected the title field) Unfortunately Amazon is importing a lot of junk records on to Goodreads now - one of the reasons that things are so behind.

Page counts are usually done by new librarians & librarians without much spare time & requests in the wrong place can be skipped over.

I wondered what in the world was going on with that book description. Thanks for your hard work! And here all I thought you needed to do was fix that page count. My bad. :-D

Glad you got a giggle out of that. A lot of the older series books at the library that have been around since the 80s and 90s need to be repaired or replaced. It seems like I'm constantly returning them with a personal note saying "I DIDN"T do this! This book was falling apart when I got it."
