Horror/Mystery - that's what I started reading early on when I would take books from my dad's bookcase - Nostalgic now

Physical books - I like to be able to feel the book and see my progress hands on

1. What is your favorite genre & why?
Dont have one! I like to mix it up. Too many of any one genre in a row bores me! But either way, I'm not really a fan of romance.

2. Do you prefer to read physical books, audiobooks, or ebooks? why?
Physical books because holding a book just feels right, and audio books because I can listen while doing the countless other things that need doing.

3. Who was your favorite character, and why?
Phedre no Delauney from Kushiel's Dart because she's smart, capable and also knows her limitations. Also her companion Joscelin Verreuil, who I am hopelessly in love with!

recently? Not counting re-reads... The Dark Tower

Tolkien's, but only because in my head I've decided he lived in a hobbit hole and I refuse to hear otherwise!

Dublin - for a Ulysses walking tour of the city!

13. What library would you most like to visit?
One that's big, has comfy seats and strictly enforces the "keep quiet" rule that seems to have disappeared from libraries these days.

14. What’s the scariest book you’ve ever read?
Hmmmm, not sure. I don't scare easily, so none actually come to mind. Besides 1984, I guess, for being so scarily accurate!

Not counting re-reads? The Dark Tower again.

Not sure. When I get tired I physically can't read, so I don't tend to read late anymore unless I can't sleep!

I don't tend to - I prefer to mix it up, but I have read several books in the Dark Tower series and the Stormlight Archive this year.

1. What is your favorite genre & why?
At this point and time...Romance. I love getting transported into someone's HEA.

I don't have a preference. I read all three, all the time. I have had times where I would switch from physical/ebook to audio or from audio to physical/ebook depending on if the book was slow or if the narrator wasn't to my preference.

What’s the scariest book you’ve ever read? ~ I haven't read anything that made me feel fear in a long time, but I do remember having to read From Potter's Field with the lights on when I read it in the 90s. I'm doing a read of the series now, so I'm excited to see if I feel the same once I get to it again.

2. Do you prefer to read physical books, audiobooks, or ebooks? why? - I love E-Books, Paperbacks, and for some genres Audiobooks. Why? They're all great formats.

Off the top of my head, some that come to mind but may not be top favorites if I thought about it a few hours, or they may be who knows - Lex Luthor (some versions) in Superman mythos and Magneto (X-Men some mythos); Hannibal Lecter with serial killer thrillers; Horror book monsters - Randall Flagg / The Stand and The Dark Man / Gunslinger series.

10. Who is your favorite book couple? - No #1 Favorite, although a top contender is end-game Adrien English and Jake from Adrien English series by Josh Lanyon
11. Which author’s home would you most like to visit? -- I think Agatha Christie's homes would be nifty
12. What is your bucket list bookish destination? - Would like to visit the small Metropolis/Smallville area sometime. Also any bookstores in Ireland and other countries.

14. What’s the scariest book you’ve ever read? - I don't have a #1 scariest. Dead Sea by Tim Lebbon has some creepy moments for sure.
