I'm going through a phase of reading crime/psych thrillers which also have elements of philosophy and/or existential themes.
I've read most of Harlan Coben and Dennis Lehane's books, and I know they're great at that. Hold Tight by HC is the kind of thing I mean.
I've also just re-read Whoever Fights Monsters by Angelo Marcos which is similar in that it is a crime/psych thriller but also throws in things about the Fermi paradox and what it means to be a parent. So quite heavy and thought-provoking themes mixed in with traditional crime/psych elements. Same as HC and DL above!
Has anyone got any recs along those lines please? Thanks!
