PS - I'm adding "(español)" to the series name because the Portuguese series has the same exact name, and this will make it easier for Spanish/Portuguese readers to choose at a glance.

Are the English/Portuguese/Spanish books the same (i.e., two of them are translations of the original)?

They are both translations of the original (into different languages).

But I want to keep the SERIES separated by language (as they are on Amazon - they are published in different marketplaces). I want the people who are looking at the Spanish book to be able to click on the series and see the Spanish versions.

I can't have the Spanish version tied to the English version but then in a separate series, can I?

On Amazon I cannot link them because they do not have the same content (like an ebook and paperback do, for example). That's what I was told.

GR doesn't do separate series pages for separate languages (among other things, it would get very messy, very quickly). I've combined the books with the other editions in other languages, per GR policy, and made sure that the edition languages are set so that readers can see quickly from the All Editions page which edition is in which language.
