I'll give it a look. I've recently replayed Bodycount. An FPS that came out in 2012 or 2013 and was poorly received both critically and commercially. However, I have a soft spot for it and think its pretty good.
If you write a sequel to your book, you could dedicate several chapters to Sony's live service efforts this gen. Concord was an unmitigated disaster, swiftly followed up by another in the form of Marathon. At least with the latter they had the decency not to release it. Unfortunately I'm not sure Sony have learned any lessons though so it'll be interesting/scary to see what shallow, generic slop they try and serve up next.

If you’re into retro gaming, industry stories, or just enjoy a good tale of ambition gone wrong, I’d love for you to check it out. I’m always eager to hear feedback from fellow gamers — and if you’re interested in a review copy, just let me know!
