Green pepper

message 12: by Kim (new)

Kim | 3485 comments i just snagged a couple cozy mystery audios from the library so i will see how they pan out. for the record, if we want to use a book for any of the multi-word ingredients, we only need to find one of the words, right? for example, "beef top sirloin steak" we can use beef or top or sirloin or steak?

message 13: by Janeylou (new)

Janeylou | 974 comments I read it that we would have to find all 4 words but could be in different parts of book ..( each word seperately)

Let me re read the rules

message 14: by Janeylou (new)

Janeylou | 974 comments Doesnt acually say so asked in q & a

Wonderful! Our 8th great-grandchild is due ANY minute! Tomorrow I'll be watching the littles (Lily and Julian aka Juju) for two days while my daughter and SIL go to Vegas, but not for fun. She's in RN school and has to go to Vegas to do her clinicals. I love watching them, though. Now that they're 6 and 5 we can play Go Fish and Matching Hello Kitty game and other things. I'm looking forward to it. :)

How are things in your corner of the world?

LOL That's too funny! I love it!

message 17: by Vicki (new)

Vicki (goodreadscomboobooper49) | 5341 comments IF I understand correctly, and if nobody minds, I'll take SWEET RED PEPPER and I get it from this. I did ask in the Q/A to make sure I understand and that this is OK.

SWEET (title & ALN) "red dress" (16), "pepper him" (260)

Janeylou | 974 comments @ Kim...i asked

Janeylou wrote: "For the 4 word items ..Beef top sirloin steak

Does 1 person have to find all 4 words ( in dif parts.of book)

Or
Can 1 person find beef & top, and another find sirloin steak ?"

Typically we do one book per word. So, for this challenge, it's one book per ingredient. You can definitely use any combination of the following ways to find your ingredient(s).

1. Using object(s) on the cover (if applicable—for example, an orange on the cover would work for orange(s). Any edition works.)
2. Using the letters in title, series title, and/or author's first/middle/last name (in any order)
3. Finding the word(s) in text (please state location and passage). Words do not need to be together in the same sentence either.
4. Using the color of the cover (if applicable—for example, an orange cover would work for orange(s). Any edition works.)

I also love creative loopholes

Like SIRLOIN using letters in the title/series title/authors full name? Then finding BEEF, STEAK, and TOP in text within the same book?

Yes, you can do that.

Congrats! You finished your first recipe. Here is your next one:

Green Goddess Vegan Potato Salad:
Ingredients: Yukon Gold/Fingerling Potatoes, Green Onions, Avocados, Parsley, Tarragon, Vegan Mayonnaise, Capers, Seasoned Salt, Celery, and Radishes.

**For the potatoes, you just need to find 'YUKON GOLD POTATOES' or 'YUKON FINGERLING POTATOES.' You don't need to find both GOLD and FINGERLING.
