are caraval series worth to read?
i really wanted to read OUABH, but someone says i must read the caraval series first to understands the story better.
it’s a quite long series for me, tbh😭
but give me your opinions please🥹🥹💓

i only read caraval, but personally i really enjoyed it! it was one of those books that got me into reading, and i started reading fantasy after that. the whole world + magic system is pretty cool, and that time it was considered new.
you meet a character called jacks in caraval (2nd book) and basically sometimes he shows up to remind us he's still alive but that's it.

jacks is the mmc in the ouabh trilogy, but i don't think any other characters show up from caraval
