There’s a boy (or a girl, I’m not sure which character was which) and he lives in this small town with his family. He has like a bunch of sisters and his mum‘s like always making him do stuff because he’s the only guy in the family, like his dad was dead or something and then he gets an invitation to go to a Manor and They say that if he works for them he will get to stay away from his family. He gets shelter and food whatever like it’ll be great so he decides to accept the invitation and he goes there and then there’s another girl (or it’s the boy, again, I’m not sure) that also had the same situation she got invited to work there, and to get away from her family. The same thing happened so they like clean the house and stuff they do all that they asked to do Like they have to wake up early. They eat they whatever but like they started noticing like weird things like the food is always there in the morning but they never know who puts it there. like they can’t leave like there’s like a barrier around the fence like around the house. then like the guests in the house are like really really weird and like they can never actually See them and then they realise that all of the guests are ghosts.
The cover was really nice. It was like a nice pastel green house. It was super pretty like really nice and then there was like a fence outside the house like a cool fence right like and then I remember like they had the door was really big door there was like the garden and everything. The author was definitely male too, I am pretty sure.
There was one of the ghosts and he lived in like the fireplace like in the chimney and he would talk to the girl and the boy like about stuff. There was also an auntie and an uncle upstairs that were ghosts and wouldn’t talk much, there was a gardener outside that wouldn’t talk much either, and I remember something about a piano room.
