Do social media influencers promote superficial values?

I think this is a hard question to answer because while some influencers promote superficial values others promote the exact opposite. I think it drastically varies by what type of content they post but also what the viewer is defining as a superficial value.

yeah i totally agree. there are definitely some who promote superficial things, such as women “needing” to be socially attractive and such, but others focus more on mental health and that sort of stuff. there’s also some who just do their thing. there’s so many types of influencers, it really depends on who you watch
