i know, i know, it’s still summer but I am soooo excited for fall and where i live it will start getting colder soon so i want to be prepared! i want some fall book recs! i typically read romance! i love lucy score and emily henry, but i am open to trying out other genres too! just nothing too scary lol

Definitely books by Lynn Painter but specifically Better Than the Movies (2 books) and Betting on You, both are super cute romance books that just make you giggle so much because they're so cute

The Naturals by Jennifer Lynn Barnes is also really good (4 books & 1 novella), it's basically 5 teenagers who work for the FBI to catch serial killers from old cold cases but they end up getting wrapped up into active cases all the time and it's really not scary but it definitely gets your heart rate going.

If you wanna maybe try fantasy I would recommend the Shadow & Bone Trilogy, it's pretty straightforward and is definitely a good starter to try fantasy books. Read the Six of Crows duology after because those books just scream fall/halloween. It got me into reading and so did the Inheritance Games. it takes place in Texas and is a little bit of mystery with some romance, and it's one of my faves. If you've seen and liked Knives Out then you'll like this book, if you haven't watched it I would definitely recommend watching it around fall too (there's two movies)
