I haven’t gotten the chance to finish this book, but I’ve started it. Stay Dead by April Henry. It’s like a murder mystery/survival and so far it’s pretty interesting

I'd like to recommend 'The Girl Who Could Fly' by Victoria Forester. I really enjoyed it! (There is mention of brief torture of children and animals, just a heads up)

I would also recommend The Blackbird Girls (historical fiction), A Shot At Normal (contemporary, there's a bit of romance) , This Will Be Funny Someday (contemporary, coming of age), and/or Counting by Sevens(contemporary)
