I’d be honored if someone could give my new novel a read, your opinion would mean a lot. There's no time limit to review!
Emika and the Sekai no Kami no Kokoro is the first book in The Reitsumeyoke Scrolls , a story inspired by the rich mythologies of pre-Sengoku Japan. It’s a world filled with gods, curses, and mortals who dare to defy them.
If you’ve ever enjoyed series like Inuyasha or Noragami , or been moved by the quiet beauty of Hotarubi no Mori e , I think you might find something familiar—and maybe even excitingly new—within these pages. Each chapter is accompanied by original artwork, and for fans of Hazbin Hotel , there’s even a chapter subtly inspired by two of its songs (see if you can spot the references!).
Emika, our fierce and determined protagonist, is a Reitsumeyoke—a "dispeller of sugami"—tasked with slaying gods who have twisted into monsters from envy and hunger for worship. But when the divine order begins to crumble, Emika and her childhood friend Mu, a cursed minor god, are pulled into a celestial game where every choice could lead to salvation… or ruin.
I’d be so grateful if you’d consider reading Emika and the Sekai no Kami no Kokoro . Even a short review would be an incredible gift and a huge help to me as a new author. Thank you again for your time and consideration—I’d be happy to email you a free eBook copy if you're interested.
Warmly,
H. L.
