H.R. Moore | 38 comments Hi,

Please could you merge two author profiles which are both for my HR Moore pen name. One is H.R. Moore (https://www.goodreads.com/author/show...) and the other is HR Moore (https://www.goodreads.com/author/show...). When new books are added from Amazon, they go to HR Moore, but H.R. Moore has most of my books on it as it was set up years ago.

Once the pages have been merged, my pen name should be updated to HR Moore so future Amazon updates go to the right place.

Thanks so much,

Harriet

H.R. Moore | 38 comments Thanks, but I need the two pen names to be merged and for the pen name that's left to be HR Moore.

Scott | 8669 comments We use standard and correct punctuation here at Goodreads.

H.R. Moore | 38 comments I'm not sure what that means?

Scott | 8669 comments It means that we will not change your name to "HR Moore."

H.R. Moore | 38 comments But whether my pen name appears as HR Moore or H.R. Moore is a stylistic choice for an author...

It is also a stylistic choice for Goodreads how they want author names to appear on Goodreads. & this is an American site where a lot of people still use periods after initials.

Goodreads librarians are volunteers & are required to follow policy or risk losing their librarian status.

Here is the relevant part of the Librarians' Manual.

Hope this helps!
