The Next Best Book Club discussion

New to the discussion group, but not new to Goodreads. Started Goodreads back in 2012 mainly to keep track of my hoard of books and then later on it came in handy for when I joined a local book club. I have noticed quite the resurgence in book readers, many new authors and the renewal in the popularity of books...yeah! Books and reading have always (& will always be) been my biggest hobby and takes me to so many different lands, intrigue, experiences and interests. I am so glad to see that reading has become popular again, as well as, the rise in book collecting. I currently live in Lacey, WA having moved here from San Diego, CA 5 years ago. Unfortunately, there are very few book stores in the area, but there is a Barnes & Noble not too far. There are some up in Seattle but I refuse to up there. Luckily, my youngest daughter lives in Portland, OR and there are so many exquisite independent book stores down there, as well as, the world reknown and amazing Powell's Book Store.
