The Red Scarf I Forgot To Return question

I hope it's okay to start this little discussion here.

I recently published my first short story —
It’s called The Red Scarf I Forgot to Return, and it’s very close to my heart.

It’s a soft, emotional story about a quiet boy who worked at a library and a girl who came in with a red scarf and unknowingly changed his life.
They shared candy, books, and silence… until one day, she left without goodbye.

Ten years later, he’s successful, lonely, and still carrying the scarf she left behind.

“Some people grow up and fall in love.
I grew up and stayed in love.”
