Goodreads Librarians Group discussion

The following Goodreads entries can be grouped into a series. They were released by Ladybird Books in 1984-1988 (as its 'Series 848') to coincide with the Britt Allcroft-created TV series; they're all essentially scripts of the first 2 TV series, complete with photo stills. The scripts were in turn adapted from -- and remained very similar to -- Awdry's original stories, but they're not simply new editions of those stories.

I also separated the combo books. The two Christmas books were odd, being the only single titles in the mix. Number 14 was missing over half of its covers. Archive had all of the books except one. If you want anything else cleaned up with this series, such as the covers, you can add it here. I am on here daily, so I will get notified.

As an aside, I have seen your requests and I must say, you're photos are so well done.

Thanks Tawnya, for humouring my request to create a series very few people will be concerned about now, and for the kind words: amazing what a scanner and some mild obsessive-compulsion can achieve.

I'm sure there's some cleaning up to be done: in the meantime I'll archive this thread, but if I ever return to it I'll bring it back out!
