Im wanting to get into romance, but it’s been a struggle.

Rules:
1. No smut, non negotiable
2. minimal swearing(Pg-13 at most)

Yes I totally agree with you. It is so hard to find clean romances. I have read 20 this year and these are some of my favorites!

If you’re into hockey romance, The Appies series is clean and has minimal swearing. It’s a chill, rom-com series with all the popular tropes—brother’s best friend, fake dating, marriage of convenience. They’re kinda cliche, but they’re fun/easy reads. I really enjoyed them!

I’ve read The Bodyguard, and it definitely has a bit a swearing (i think i remember a few f-bombs in there) but it was good

I need some murder mystery books. I don’t want it super scary though. Does anyone know if the house maid series is appropriate?

I don't know about that series but the in death series by j.d.robb aka Nora Roberts is good it's part sci-fi to because they take place in the future and it's more crime
