It was a relatively thin paperback chapter book that had a dark cover with a cloaked figure (think Raven from Teen Titans) in a misty background with their face concealed.
Plot-wise the main character is thrown into this world where they have some sort of secret identity as the cloaked figure with a name associated with "Raven" and their sibling reveals they have an identity with something associated with "Devil/Red Devil" but they were already in this identity prior to the main character finding out their role. They may have had some sort of secret "room" in their home that the main character suddenly finds.
