Goodreads Librarians Group discussion

Hi,

I’ve received several messages that readers are having issues posting ratings and reviews for one of the editions (the one that is saved most times, I believe the Kindle one). Could you please provide guidance in how I could fix this? The message they get is ”Error. An unexpected error has occurred.” I had some issues with my release where the kindle version was first blocked and I had to re-release it so I’m wondering if this somehow had an impact?

I see nothing wrong with the book record, so your readers will simply have to keep trying. Goodreads is full of bugs and glitches. Best thing to do is just wait a while and come back later.

OK, thank you! It does work for then when they switch editions though - is this common?

I really don't know. For technical issues you'd have to ask support.

I have been trying to review this book since last week and keep getting the error message that the author told you about. It wont even save my star rating. I have tried in the browser and on the app.

Description update reverted. Do not write messages to other users in the description.

I just posted a review with no problem at all.
