Our golden age English murder mystery group read for September is The Draycott Murder Mystery by Molly Thynne.

This is a stand-alone whodunit "hinging enigmatically on the evidence of a fountain pen" and first published in 1928, by an author new to this group - though I'm sure some of you will have read her.

Who's joining in for this one?

Jessica | 18 comments I just downloaded the audio version from my library. And it's on Kindle Unlimited as well.

Ellen | 227 comments I will be reading it on my Kindle.

Aleksa May | 4 comments Excited for this, haven’t read any Molly Thynne.

Jessica | 18 comments I had quite a bit of free time these last couple days and I'm already finished! I loved it. I listened and read along on kindle when I could. I enjoyed some of the passages that were previously highlighted by other kindle readers. Hopefully you all will enjoy it too.

I've finished, too. A fun read. I particularly liked the small details that made the big differences.

I'm looking forward to hearing what this one's like. Molly Thynne has been on my reading radar for quite a while.

Jackie | 183 comments I'm glad people are enjoying it! I have too many other books going on right now, but I found it on my Kindle (so it must have been free at some point) and will read it if people are finding it good. And it sounds like you are!

Jackie | 183 comments I hate this about GR but now I can't edit because the "group rules" popup is covering it up! why?!

I meant I will read it eventually.
