I’m currently writing my debut romantasy trilogy — and I genuinely think this story might find its people here.
The first book is called Lucidium (set for 2026 release). It follows Astra Rowe, a graduate student obsessed with lucid dreams and consciousness research… until an experiment goes horribly wrong. She finds herself ripped from Earth and dropped into a twisted, dreamlike world where time doesn’t flow right, the forests are alive, and no one is truly human.
Astra’s smart, haunted, and trying to hold herself together after a history of manipulation and betrayal — especially by a powerful professor who crossed every line. But in Lucidium, she’s forced to rely on Cinder Vaylen, a sharp-tongued, tattooed recluse with a dark mind, strange powers, and a terrifying level of restraint. He might want to help her. He might want to use her. But worst of all… he might understand her.
🖤 This book has:
steamy slow-burn romance that starts with hate and simmers toward obsession
professor-student trauma, healing, and emotional reclamation
monsters, doppelgängers, and a magical realm that doesn’t follow the rules
science-meets-magic vibes (lucid dreaming, brain chemistry, multiverse theory)
cozy scenes like wine-drenched dinners & bath moments
dangerous scenes like forests that watch you & men who shouldn’t feel anything — but do
FOUND. FAMILY. (you will want to protect them with your life)
It’s moody and intimate and layered with emotional weight, but also weirdly cozy. If you're into books that give you angst, atmosphere, longing, and intellectual tension — this is for you.
Would love to connect with other romantasy writers + readers — feel free to drop your WIP, your fave books, or any thoughts!! Let’s be friends
