(view spoiler)[Oh well, I read ahead because I really want to know what happened to Barbara. At this moment there are quite a lot of people/names involved in this story. Let’s say it can get a bit confusing. I hope Barbara’s disappearance doesn’t have anything to do with the guy that escaped from prison (forgot his name, was it Jacob?). That would sort of be a tad too obvious for me.
Overall I‘m really invested here, but why the long part about the past. Couldn’t that be shorter. Although it’s interesting to read Alice‘s story and get to know what happened with Bear. This part just sort of seems to be dragging on for too long. I really want to know about the Barbara case, not the past. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[I can’t shake the feeling the grandfather has something to do with the disappearance of Bear and Barbara. And I‘m pretty sure it was Jacob who helped Tracy getting out of the woods. So I‘m probably way off with this theory but what if the grandfather was the serial killer and framed Jacob? It’s probably nonsense as Jacob was in for the kill when he entered that house and met the woman in the middle of the night, but Jacob being responsible just seems way too obvious. I also wonder when Barbara was born… I don’t recall it being mentioned but it must have been shortly after Bears disappearance. Maybe one year later. She wasn’t mentioned up to 1961. (hide spoiler)]

Alright I finished… And I need someone to discuss this, anyone? It’s such a good book. Here are my thoughts so far:

I probably suspected everyone while reading this, except the person it really was. Didn’t see that coming…. Absolutely enjoyed this book, up to the point that I felt myself longing for the next reading session while’s at work or outside. You definitely need some time to get into the story, especially with so many characters involved, that many POV‘s and the constant jumping in between years. It can get a bit confusing, but all worth it. This book was addictive. . (hide spoiler)]

I'm planning on starting in the next couple of days, I'll pop back in when I do :)

I'm also planning on reading it, however I'm participating in two buddy reads that I'm way behind on.
