I kept waiting to see if Jaclyn was going to post a notice on this page about the the new policy. I hate how vague it is in regards to the timeframe:
Going forward, any Librarian who is inactive for an extended period will automatically lose their status.

I know there are some that do not go to that page regularly. I am also going to post this on the book chat, even though that seems to have gone by the wayside of late.

Hi Tawnya. I'm unsure what the question is here. If it's regarding the timeframe, we've intentionally omitted that information. However, Librarians who are moderately active should not have any issues with it as it currently stands.

I guess what some of us would like to know is if an active librarian goes completely away for 2-3 months could we lose our status.

And is any edit, however small, counted as activity? If I, say, add the page count to a book, is that counted as being active?

Jaclyn, please explain what "moderately active" means in terms of this policy.

No you would not lose your status.

Any Librarian edit will be considered activity.

Hi Mesembryanthemum. As mentioned in my comment above, we are not providing specifics on this intentionally. I have offered some light guidance in my comments, and won't go into more detail.
