hey everyone, what are your driver predictions for 2026?

just to get things started, here's the confirmed grid so far

red bull ⟶ max verstappen, uncomfirmed
ferrari ⟶ charles leclerc, lewis hamilton
mercedes ⟶ uncomfirmed, uncomfirmed
mclaren ⟶ oscar piastri, lando norris
williams ⟶ alex albon, carlos sainz
aston-martin ⟶ lance stroll, fernando alonso
audi ⟶ gabriel bortoleto, nico hulkenberg
haas ⟶ estaben ocon, ollie bearman
alpine ⟶ pierre gasly, uncomfirmed
vcarb ⟶ uncomfirmed, uncomfirmed
cadillac ⟶ checo perez, valtteri bottas

so this leaves us with five open driver spots (although i think the mercedes spots are going to stay the same), what do you guys expect?

ps if a mod sees this is there any chance you could make a new folder for the 2026 season? thanks so much!!

personally, i think the mercedes spots are going to stick with george russel and kimi antonelli, isack hadjar will be promoted to the second red bull spot, one vcarb seat will go to current f2 driver arvid lindblad (his superlicense basically confirmed it), and the alpine seat might go to paul aron, their reserve driver at the moment.
the only seat i genuinely have no clue about is the second vcarb seat, but probably yuki tsunoda being demoted back or liam lawson keeping his seat

I agree with everything you said 😭 but I honestly think yuki will be dropped and Liam will stay in vcarb and even though I think isack will go to redbull I hope he stays at vcarb

yeah!! im still so sad about him, alpine was treating him horribly and procedes to drop a ROOKIE 6 races in with someone whos getting the same results?

I think Mercedes will stay the same, isack will be promoted to red bull (even though I really hope that doesn't happen), and i also think arvid lindblad will get to f1

for real!! i love franco, he's hilarious, but honestly jack is just a better driver
