Not sure what you are looking for, but here are a couple I just read that definitely gave me the emotions and feels. Definitely the emotions.

The Last Letter by Rebecca Yarros
Reminders of Him by Colleen Hoover

I am mostly a dark romance reader and I would consider these very light. But dang, they are both the "lump in your throat" type reads. Very good writing, brilliant story, fall in love with characters.

If you are looking for darker, let me know. Have a couple of those as well.

She writes really smut science fiction stories. All her MMCs are aliens

If you enjoy slow burns, I've found that any books by Mariana Zapata always does the trick for me! The pacing in her writing is perfect.
