Year 9 English: 25-26 discussion

The False Prince is the story of Sage, a defiant orphan recruited by the king's advisor, Conner, to impersonate the kingdom's long-lost Prince Jaron to prevent civil war. As Sage trains at Conner's lavish palace, he uncovers layers of treachery and deceit while competing against other orphans for the role, ultimately revealing his true identity as the missing prince in a dangerous twist that could either save or destroy the kingdom. For me, this book showed that no matter how insubordinate, flippant and arrogant a person may appear, there could be a heart of gold that can be seen when looking past the apparent character flaws. I would rate this book a 4/5.
