Lara Josephine | 28 comments Agh, I’ve been doing this dance all year — to read this book or not to read this book?

I love romance and have dipped into some dark romance too. Here’s my shelf if you want to gauge what I’ve read: https://www.goodreads.com/review/list...

But! I’m also a softie, so I’m worried it might be too much for me. At the same time, everyone goes on (and on) about this book… so am I seriously missing out??

Karen Denise Foster | 6 comments This was one of my first really "dark" romances. I love horror and romance, so the combination of the two genres is right up my alley. That said, I didn't feel like this one was terribly dark. I have read so many others that are way darker and really push the limits.

I loved the way Adeline moves into her grandmother's house and starts reading her diary. Reading about her grandmother's staker, and then Adeline has one show up. The story does push limits, but it was a fun read as well with the mystery of it and the twists.

Kayla Gregory | 1 comments It’s iffy for me honestly. I feel like the story line in the second book was really good but the first one was eh. I don’t want to give too much away but it’s def not my favorite
