☠️ Dark Romance Bookclub ☠️ discussion

Heya. I'm looking for a well written, dark professor/student romance. Whilst I'm an avid dark romance reader there's very few that I absolutely love. Most have disappointed me with the writing or how it's just not dark!
So please do send all the amazing recs and tell me a little bit about what makes the book great.

I am not sure this would be dark enough for you, but I enjoyed Dark Notes by Pam Goodwin.

These are not teacher/student, but I thought they were well written and pretty dark:
Adicted to Sin – Emily Stormbrook – Graphic torture, abduction, liked this series a lot
Break Her – B. G. Harlen – Hostage, graphic, WTF ending
What Lies – Willow Madison – Dark, captivity, psychological torture, mindfuck, extreme violence
What Love – Willow Madison – continues Larissa’s story…….exceptional, twist you will not see coming
Red Rabbit and Darling Wildfire – Devyn Rivers - dark, graphic, bloddy, kidnapping, trafficking, military, FM, MFM, MM, debut books…really intense and really good.
Irreversible – Jennifer Hartman – Sex trafficking, other things, kidnapping, really emotional ride.

So I took a look at the books we have in common. I will also suggest that you take a look at these.

I Kill Killers – S.T. Ashman – Serial killer female pianist works with FBI. Dark and delicious. Not much romance. Lots of twists like Mind F*ck series.

Twenty One – Alice Anne Blackwood – Dark, sex trafficking, graphic, violence, (banned for 5 years, now republished, really good, loved the end). I really like this one. It may not be dark enough though.

Stronger Series - Jay Marie - really dark, mafia, trafficking, GR, strong FMC, (one more book coming in series, one of my favorites ever).

24690 - A.A. Dark - dark, graphic, horror, erotica
Garden of the Gods series – A.A. Dark – dark, graphic, horror, erotica
Chronicles of Anna Monroe – A.A. Dark – Pitch Black, serial killers, serial killers, serial killers, kidnapping, abuse, graphic horror erotica, absolutely fantastic, and serial killers. This author has a lot of grammar errors, but I still read her because she is really out there.

Blaire - Anita Gray – Mafia/cartel, dark, BDSM, graphic

Ooh now these sound interesting. especially the strong FMC ones.
