Diane Moseley | 2641 comments A Dry Spell. -A dry spell is a time when you're not doing something that you want to be doing, it seems as if God is a thousand miles away. As Christians, it bothers us when we see Christians around us who seem to be thriving. This leads us to feel guilty and causes us to wonder if there is something spiritually lacking within us. Instead, look to Jesus whose love for you never wavers. These things can help you get through your dry spell, read your Bible, Sing to the Lord, Prayer, or phone a friend. -

But I trust in your unfailing love. I will rejoice because you have rescued me. I will sing to the Lord because he is good to me. -Psalm 13:5-6
O God, you are my God; I earnestly search for you. My soul thirsts for you; my whole body longs for you in this parched and weary land where there is no water. -Psalm 63:1
Instead, I have calmed and quieted myself, like a weaned child who no longer cries for its mother’s milk. Yes, like a weaned child is my soul within me. -Psalm 131:1-2
But those who drink the water I give will never be thirsty again. It becomes a fresh, bubbling spring within them, giving them eternal life.” -John 4:14
