Sci-fi and Heroic Fantasy discussion

Okay, here's the ad for my first novel.

The Cookie Caper is an action story set in a time when the largest corporations have been granted the legal status of sovereign nations. The action centers around a mercenary and a partner she (reluctantly) takes on as they attempt to recover a prototype batch of cookies that have gone missing after the baker was murdered.

Unlike many works in this sub-genre, The Cookie Caper explores the cyberpunk world after the sun comes up. With a bent toward slice-of-life comedy, characters have real life problems--not like remembering to reload their wet-wired super guns, more like making sure they get a chance to eat lunch. This blend is why the series is dubbed "The Bright Future."
