I watched an interesting session yesterday.
Bella Andre states that series really take off at books 4 and 5. So I am planning on testing out this theory, officially making BLOOD TOY a 5 book series to start.

I've heard that a few times too. Why stop at 5 unless you have to? Once you get the ball rolling, it's all gravy after that.

I plan on at least seven books for The Goddess of Decay series, but who knows. I'd like to do twenty, but we all have to die sometime.

I had an ending point in mind, but i could keep it going if I switch protagonist or antagonist after book 5. Will see what readers think when i get that far:)

Or plots between books that you haven't thought of yet. Or even one off novels about characters in the series that deserve the spotlight but don't get it.

I have a definite ending point myself, but getting there could change a lot over the years.

Yes, I signed up for this and have received a slew of emails covering a wide range of topics. I created an Indie Recon folder to save the sessions that were relevant to me and deleted the ones that weren't. I will eventually get around to checking all these out, but good resource to have.

I watched/listened to a few of these over the last couple of days! There was some great stuff for Indies. I also saved some for later, specially the stuff on marketing.
