I'd be curious to read your review of Boneman's Daughter after you are done with it. I have yet to read it, and have heard a wide mix of comments on it. Thanks. Blessings!!!

Dáithí's (payattentiontotheshadows) Thanks for the bait...as a twisted and demented pastor, it sounds like it will be a hit!! Peace to you LoriRay!!

Cassondra BMD is a beautiful allegory about a father's love for his daughter.

Cassondra Dekker is giving out copies of his as yet unpublished book on Facebook. All you have to do is answer a question correctly, and he will pick some at random to give a new book to!

Lynnette Bonner (lynnettebonner) | 20 comments What I like about Dekker's books is that they make you think. Sometimes it takes me awhile to figure out where he is going with a story, but he always has a great message.

If you've never read his first book Heaven's Wager, it was awesome! Highly recommended. But I generally like all his books.

Brooke (bdzimmy) | 8 comments I just finished Burn by Ted Dekker & Erin Healy. It was....interesting. I feel like I missed something though, so I think I'm going to have to read it again. I liked the story, the characters & it was very well written, but I just felt like I missed something, like there should have been more in the end.

I also really enjoy reading his books & I agree, they make you think....but, for some reason, I just didn't get this one!!

Devin (demo318) I've read the first three books of his Circle Series, and it's pretty good. He is very imaginative and original in his story telling, and I have enjoyed that. However, I find that his Pentecostal theology shines through a lot. This drives me nuts because he tends to make Christianity look like some existential trip, and he seems to portray Jesus as having the emotional fiber of a high-school girl. After I read Green , I don't think I will be picking up much more of his stuff.

Margaret Metz | 102 comments I read the Circle books (all except Green) and liked them. I picked up a few of his other books and had a harder time. I had heard that he tended to focus more on ... the "darkness" than on the light and on the enemy than on God. I didn't think that was true in the Circle books. It might have come closer for some of the others I read.

I think he writes very well - but he creeped me out more than a little bit and I had to search hard for a redeeming message at times.
