I was avoiding this book since the premise seemed a little goofy and random. But I loved Hill's other novels so figured this week was a good time to give it a shot.
I was very pleasantly surprised. It had a lot more story to it than I was expecting and ended up being a 5-star book for me. Part of me thinks that the description should be a little more revealing since it really doesn't elude to the actual story (the horns are pretty secondary) but then I think going in blind really added to my enjoyment.
I grew up loving Stephen King (he's my mom's favorite author so I started reading his books earlier than I probably should have) but I think I can definitely conclude that I liked Hill more than King. I'm looking forward to more novels by him.
