What type of magic school thing we you thinking about? Like a school for all girls or girls and boys? Did you want specific magic powers for the characters?

Mixed, girls and boys. And no specific powers. I meant magic school as in a school for supernatural beings. Like witches, vampires, werewolves, shifters, necromancers, etc.

Okay cool. I like that idea. So will our characters be aware of what they are, or are they just now figuring out what they are and learning along the way?

One of our characters does and the other doesn't

Okay do you want to be the character who does or the character who doesn't?

I don't mind. Wbu?

I don't mind either. I could be the character who doesn't. It'll be interesting to form what she/he can do.

Oh do you want the main characters to be a boy and a girl? Or is two girls fine? I don't mind being a boy if you wanted a MxF type of romance from the main characters.

Sure.

I don't mind any of those. I'd actually prefer a love interest kind of thing. So I guess MxF and I don't mind playing the male either.

Okay well MxF is fine. I don't mind playing either character whether male or female. Do you want to structure the school before we start?

Okay how about we start with naming the school.

My name idea is Kitonia, Institute of the Arcane or Drofine, Academy of Sorcery.

Okay, so now we need a class schedule

What classes are there though?

Spell casting,
Curse studies,
Archery,
Fencing,
Combat,

I guess just classes to learn of their history and skills. Just a list so we can reference them in our rp. Like if my character has something important happen to him/her while in class, I can say what class.

Both, they can live at home or on campus.

Okay do you want to start or do you want me to start?

Yes I can. I usually do at least a paragraph in my posts.

Oh okay.. Well, I try to write as much as I can but I get writers block a lot..

"Victoria, are you ready? It's time to go," her aunt yelled up the stairs at her. "I'll be down in a minute. I don't want to leave anything important," Victoria yelled back. She was not ready and she didn't feel like she would ever be ready. Just last week she had to bury her parents who died from unknown causes. Then, Monday she received a letter from Kitonia, Institute of the Arcane. The letter stated:

Dear Victoria Peters,

You have been accepted to Kitonia, Institute of the Arcane on behalf of your special talents. Admission will be paid for and room and board will be provided. Classes begin a week from Monday, but you will be required to move into your accomodations by this Friday.

We hope to see you soon,

Headmaster Salvatore

She couldn't believe it. She figured their had to be a typo, but when she called the school to confirm that she would attend, she was on the student roster. This was a shock to her, she didn't know what special talents they thought she had. As far as she knew, she didn't have a single talent.

But today was Friday and in a few hours she would find out what Kitonia had to offer. Victoria finished packing and headed down the stairs.

Joseph walked into his dorm, his butler was carrying his stuff in. He had waited to be of age for years and years and years. His parents talked highly of the school all the time. He was getting tired of it. Thankfully, he could move onto campus in a big one person bedroom.

One of the perks of being the second youngest sibling was that he barely saw his other 5 siblings and now, he wouldn't even see his little sister. She was by far his favourite of all of them. At least she didn't act like she was completely perfect or maybe he eas saying that too soon. She was still 4 years old after all, who knew what traits she'd catch on.

Victoria and her aunt pulled into the parking lot where the dorms were located. "We're here Victoria," her aunt said smiling. Victoria peered at the place that would become her new home until she graduated. She wasn't even sure what courses were offered here. It's huge, much bigger than Portman High. She couldn't believe she was invited to a school that looked like this one.

She got out of the car, signaling her aunt to pop the trunk. Grabbing what little belongings she brought, Victoria headed toward the entrance to the dorms. She sensed that this would be an experience of a lifetime, but she also had a bad feeling about Kitonia.

Joseph smiled as he met Headmaster Salvatore. "Good morning, sir," he greeted. "It's a pleasure to finally meet you." He said, politely. He hated acting polite. It was just so fake.

The good part about being him though, was how no one would suspect that he would do anything wrong. He'd often prank people but not in a way that he'd be expelled if anyone found out and if anyone was framed even though he always made sure no one was. He was a good guy, despite what he thought. He was nice too, unlike his snobby, arrogant, stuck up siblings.

He smiled as the head master lead him inside.

As Victoria neared the entrance, she noticed two people having a conversation. She stopped, not sure she wanted to meet anyone just yet. One of them looked like a student, but then again he looked older than her. She wasn't sure of the age range of the students. She barely knew anything about the school. The other guy looked way older, maybe a teacher or something.

Once they turned to go inside, Victoria continued on her way inside the massive dorm. When she reached the door, she turned to wave good bye to her aunt unsure of when she would see her again. She was ready to embark on this new journey of her life. She knew her parents would've wanted her to do this. She just knew, no matter the circumstances, she would've ended up here.

Joseph nodded and let the headmaster show him around.

The headmaster first took him downstairs to the students rooms. Underground. There were the dorms, the lounge, the den, the basement, the game room, the student clinic and the inside food court for varieties outside of the cafeteria and etc. Then he showed him the upstairs dorm which was for students who chose it, though the underground ones were the main ones.

He showed him which corridor took him to the teachers tower, though didn't take him in. There was also one corridor that no one went through but it was still there.

Then to the main floors where all the classes took place. He showed him which class was which and which was whose. He showed him the huge library. Then showed him the four halls, the gold, the diamond, the platinum and the ballroom. Then he showed him where the huge but empty(for now) board was, where students should check for updates the teachers didn't tell them about.

Last, he showed him where the courtyard was and where the cafeteria, also telling him the timings for each meal and any special occasions.

As soon as Victoria stepped inside the building, she was so stunned she dropped her bags. This place was much more massive inside than it was on the outside. The walls displayed immaculate pieces of art, there were statutes and chandelier lights. It looked like a place fit for a queen. She wondered what this place used to be before it became a school. Or, has it always been a school?

Unsure of where the dorms were located, she realized she would have to wait for someone to walk past to ask for directions. She was hoping she wouldn't have to meet anyone until she had gotten settled in, giving her some time to get her feel of this place. She decided to pretend to be admiring a piece of art on the wall. It was a painting of a very pale woman, maybe the palest woman Victoria has ever seen.

When he got to his room once again he smiled and said goodbye to the headmaster as he started unpacking.

Thankfully, he didn't have to meet anyone else until school started. He wasn't the most social and a lot of people didn't like him because he was always grumpy. He was barely ever able to sleep and when he did, he had to wake up early. They couldn't blame him.

It wasn't just the lack of sleep though. It was always those migraines he always got. Nothing worked on them. No spell and no human medication. When someone checked him up, everything about him was normal. It was also the monthly routine of a dangerous fever. Some of the witches that checked him up said that he needed to use his magic more often because he was really strong.

Victoria noticed two girls coming down the set of stairs to her left. She turned and asked the shorter one with glasses, "Could you perhaps point me in the direction of the dorms?" The taller girl reached out her hand, "I'm Meg," pointing towards the other girl, "and that's Ashley. She's pretty shy, so you won't find anything asking her. Luckily I was walking with her. What's your name?" She was shocked. The girl must be very sociable because she'd only asjed for directions and got names and a personality trait. Victoria didn't really care who they were and if she was back home, she probably would've tried o find the place she was looking for on her own. But she wasn't at home, she was here. And she would have to make new friends if she wanted to survive.

"Victoria, but most people call me Vic. Nice to meet you, Meg and Ashley. I'm just trying to find my dorm room. Ummm..." she looked down at the paper in her hand, "right. Dorm 104. Do you happen to know where that is?" The biggest smile crept onto Meg's face, "I know exactly where that is. It's the dorm that adjoins mine and Ashley. You're right smack in the middle of our dorm. Follow us."

Victoria had no idea what she had gotten herself into. She was just trying to be friendly to her potentially, fellow classmates and ended up basically being like their roomie. Victoria picked up her bags and followed them to her dorm.

Talking about Migraines, he groaned loudly and got into the bed. He sighed as his head pounded. He stared at the ceiling blankly as he took deep breaths. He couldn't even sleep even if he wanted to.

One of the teachers walked up to the students update board and already had a paper up. 'TOMORROW MORNING, BREAKFAST AT THE HALL OF GOLD. MANDATORY FOR ALL STUDENTS TO ATTEND. IT STARTS AT 7, BE THERE BEFORE FOOD IS SERVED AT 7:30.'

Once Victoria made it to her room, she laid down on her bed. She was tired from all the packing and listening to Meg talk. Meg had taken her on a campus-wide tour. They even passed an update board that had a lonely message on it about a mandatory breakfast at the Hall of Gold. Meg told her that they would have to be ready by 6:40 so they could make it there if they wanted to get good seats. Victoria thought that was unnecessary. Why did they have to be there that earlier?

Victoria got off the bed and unpacked her things. She was exhausted and decided to take a shower and go straight to bed, otherwise, there was absolutely no way she was walking out of this door at 6:40 in the morning.

Zayne stayed in bed for the rest of the day because his migraines were crippling. It was like there was a voice in his head, constantly trying to reach out to him but it was different than normal voices.

His head started pounding even more when he started think about it. So he stopped and worked on falling asleep.

Victoria awoke at 5:50 AM to someone banging on her door. What could anyone want at this hour? She got up and opened the door to a frenzied Meg. Meg panicky, "What should I wear? I have no idea what I'm going to wear." Victoria was shocked, she'd never seen anyone so stressed over what to wear for breakfast. "It's just breakfast, Meg," she said in a nonchalant voice. Meg freaked, "Just breakfast? It's never just breakfast. Didn't you read the message on the board? Everyone will be there Vic."

Victoria still didn't understand why anyone would need to dress so nicely for breakfast, but she felt bad for trying to brush Meg off. She wiped the sleep out of her eyes and said, "Let me help you find something to wear." Meg grabbed her arm and pulled her towards her room.

He came out at 3 am once his migraine had worn off to find some stuff in the living room. His 'room' mates had arrived already.

He sighed and left the living room. He rounded the school grounds out of boredom even though he was pretty sure they weren't allowed to do so.
