Yeah that a pretty good casting for Valentine. I'm very happy with the cast. :)

They have casted Alec and Luke!! Its someone Matthew Daddario as Alec and Isaiah Mustafa as Luke.

Yes it's true they picked Alec and Luke, I think that Matthew with blue eyes, and he's perfect. And Isaiah is good. I really like them, now just waiting for our Magnus.

Also can't wait to see who Magnus will be. And they seriously need to get Valentine right. Someone was describing the actor they used in the movie and I was like '...that's not Valentine.'

OMG THIS IS SO EXCITING!!!! I just hope it's going to be better than the movie. I was really let down by it.

I love the casting of Magnus! Him and Alec were perfect choices. Jocelyn looks a lot like Lena Headley from the movie, but that's okay, I guess? I'm torn on Valentine though. I'll have to reserve judgement on him. I can't really get behind Simon and Isabelle yet. Simon just doesn't look right and Isabelle was suppose to be this like supermodel looking girl. Maybe that opinion will change. Dominic Sherwood is not Jace. I'm sorry but I have yet to see anyone cast as Jace that I like. My only problem with Kat McNamara is her hair. It's supposed to be bright red, not strawberry blonde.

I am happy with the casting of Simon,Clary and Izzy but I need to actually see the 1st episode to decide on Jace.However I am so happy if is going to be a series that at this point I need to scream!!!!!OMG

I am quite happy with this cast and am pretty excited about the show more than ever. The only problems I have, I think can be fixed easily with cosmetics and wardrobe.

I'm so excited! Have you guys seen Dominic Sherwood? The guy playing as Jace? He has heterochromia and I'm not even mad.

Honestly, this tv series can only go both ways, good or bad . I don't know what to feel about this. I have mix feelings right now and it's extremely confusing. Am I happy or upset. Do I feel joy or do I feel angry.

Hopefully it might turn out well.

I love Simon, Alec, Isabel, and Jocelyn, but Magnus looks a little too young and Valentine doesn't quite seem right. Also, I'm not a big fan of the Clary actress either. Maybe my opinions will change once I see the show though. CAN'T WAIT!

Emma, have you seen the CW show Reign? The actor who will play Valentine also played the villain on Reign, and he was fantastic! You should watch some clips if you haven't seen it, I think you will change your mind :)

The new casting is perfect! I'm so glad they got rid of the movie cast! This cast looks great! ABC FAMILY DON'T SCREW UP THIS SHOW!

I'm so looking forward to how it will all turn out. I hope it will reach my expectations, or in other words [as good as the book.]

I'm absolutely not happy about this cast. I liked the movie cast, to be honest. But we will see, maybe I'll change my opinion when I see the show.

I liked Lily Collins, But not Jamie whatever his last name is..:p And keep simon, he was good:)

I followed the news about the cast like crazy on Twitter and now I'm beyond disappointed.
