I guess we'll call this Jim's non-literary post this week. I was having a discussion (read argument) with my wife concerning what we both want. That got me to thinkin'... What do I want? I don't know. If I could have any wish, what would it be? So I leave it to you my GR community, what do you want?

Before you do, let me tell you I don't want to hear a bunch of BS platitudes about world peace, feeding the hungry, or a non-destructive renewable energy source. I want what it will take to make you happy right NOW. I wish I was pregnant. I wish I wasn't pregnant. I wish Sylvester Stalone would come out of retirement to make just one more Rocky movie. I wish I never had to ask for sex. I wish I never had gotten that last puppy. I wish... whatever. No matter how silly or inappropriate. Give voice to your desire. With 560+ members to this group, I want at least 50 answers.

So tell me RRRC, what do you want?

I wish...

I wish... to be married. My fiance is currently in England and can't afford to move here (to USA) right now (in this time of economic downturn) and we also have to do immigration before we can have the wedding. My second wish, if I'm allowed, would be for him to win the lottery. lol Then he can afford to make the first wish come true quicker.

A lovely wish Briansgirl. I've been thinking of this for the better part of the evening and I just can't decide what my wish should be. It's harder than yo first think.

Thanks Jim. Might be hard for others but it was easy for me. All I want is to be with my fella.

I wish the doctors would find out what's wrong with my mom and fix whatever it is so she can get out of the hospital and back where she belongs :)

I'd like to be pregnant again by the end of next year...

I wish my upcoming surgery was over and recovery was painless and done.

I wish we had a second child. We've been waiting for 3 years to adopt to grow our family.

I wish my son's mental health would improve and he could be happy

I wish for a job over summer, and if i can be fussy then a job with a good boss at a place i won't get bored at. But for now i think a job will do.

Hope to find a job in the field I would like to work in.

I wish I have enough discipline to be consistent with my exercise and in my diet so I can lose the extra weight.

I wish I was able to go on a one year inter-continent vacation. I'm not asking for luxury. I would love a scrape by year of backpacking and fabulous food. Of course that would lead to amazing experiences, new friends, and plenty of fantastic photos. +Crossing my fingers!+

Taz, I can shapeshift. I go from my old shape to more round all the time. I'd kind of like to be able to shift back now.

Renee: My 16 YO son is a junior in high school. He has been dating the same girl for more than two years. She is currently 19 and a junior in college. He'll be 17 in just over a month (a few weeks after the GF turns 20). I understand your frustration.

Sara: Just get the puppy. There is always enough time for those things that bring us joy.

I wish that I knew what would make me happy. It seems like everytime I think of something and accomplish it, I'm still not happy. Maybe I'm not thinking deeply enough?

Thanks, the boyfriend (which is how I refer to him) is 20 and also have been dating for 2 yrs. I know I'm beating my head against the wall. She is fun loving, outgoing and (for lack of any other adjective) bubbly; and he is a lazy, un-social, slug who does nothing but bring her down.

Sorry for my little tirade there, sometimes I just need to vent =O\

I tell you what, I understand completely. My 22 gorgeous daughter is living with a 34 control-freak b***** who none of us can stand. He has hit her twice that we know of and she lives 8 hours drive from here! Very very difficult to handle at times, so my sympathies go out to you Renee

That I'll be able to raise the money for the Breast Cancer walk that I will be doing in support of my mother who was diagnosed with the horrible disease a couple months ago.

I wish, that when it comes time to sell our house we sell it effortlessly, and at a great price, and then can find an amazing home that we can afford and purchase!

I'm scared to think what I'll be like when my kids are old enough to date... I hope everything works out for the best

I wish I could buy car this year. I'm been saving up for it but it never seems to be enough with growing kids and all. It would save me a lot on public transportation expense too.
