BookTube 2018! discussion

It's perfect because I just started reading this book and didn't realize it was the book of the month! That's great thought bec now I can tag along. I'll be getting a video review when I'm done but so far, I'm loving the book so much (on pg. 211). Anyone else feel the same way?

Just realized Booksplosion is also reading An Ember in The Ashes for their May read along.

I finished the other day, it was an amazing book but there needs to be a sequel. The way it ended, it's almost like it's saying "be prepared for a sequel" lol.

My husband Just finished this one--favorite character was Elias. Theme is to respect other people. I would definitely recommend this one--lots of action with sort of a love triangle. https://youtu.be/ftg0Et1HxC4

Here is my book review video.

Laia was my favorite character. I loved how even when things got really tough, and even when she wanted to quit, she didn't. I also liked the human side to her. Sometimes in books, characters reactions don't quite seem real, like.. who would respond to certain situations in that way, but her responses and her fear are all very real!
Sabaa Tahir is one of my new favorite writers! I can't wait for the sequel.
