This Pillars of the Earth needs to be combined with This one and then the first one needs to be deleted.

I hope the search issue is solved soon.

Don't have the patience right now for the first POTE (it shouldn't be deleted but should be combined with the correct 1989 original hardcover edition) or the last 2 Pillars of the Earth (because with a quick glance did not "get" why those 2 belonged together; I"ll look later if they're still there.

Got AGATBs and the 2nd POTE. For now.

There are two editions of Life of Pi with no ISBNs; the one with the cover art looks like it's been clipped from a magazine and probably isn't a different edition.

Cait, Got those LOP. You're right, but the user seemed to want it to be the original hardcover edition so I did combine it with just that edition before deleting it and re-combining all the editions.

Please delete these. Two of them look like they only have 3 reviews - but they still say they need a Super-user

The language on the site can be slightly misleading at times. A super-user is necessary if a book is on the shelves of 10 or more users NOT if 10 or more users have rated/reviewed it. The site sometimes "assumes" that anyone who has a book on their shelf has reviewed it and uses language which may be incorrect in that sense. When you merge a book it states "That edition has been deleted. 12 reviews were merged", but in this case "reviews" actually means "users with book on a shelf". However, the site is smart enough to not count unrated books when it estimates average ratings, so the average rating count only includes those who have rated a book, not just those who have it on their shelf.

The two books you mention above only had 3 ratings each, but were actually on 12 and 15 user's shelves, respectively, which is why they required a super-user to delete.

Same Author, same year, same publisher. And if you compare it thoroughly, the same ISBNs too for all three of them.

Nenangs, I believe you are correct and merged accordingly.

I doubt this is a unique edition. It was entered with no ISBN and with the wrong publication date (1378 vs. 1995)--I had to enter a publication date so I could merge it with the correct author since the author's name had been entered with a typo:
