Shannon This news made me so happy. I plan to read this book again. I always refer to it as the book that I never wanted to end. I think history should be taught from it.

Sonja Williams | 14 comments This was an excellent book. The writing was wonderful and novel-like, and the lives of the three main characters whom author Isabel Wilkerson decided to focus on were compelling. It was also a pretty thick, 600 page book. So it will definitely be interesting to see how the scriptwriters will distill these stories for TV. If you haven't read the book, you probably should before the series makes its debut. I for one, can't wait to see how it the series.

Cynthia Toliver | 20 comments I loved this book. I'm not sure how I feel about a dramatization of the book though. I would love to see it as a serialized documentary.
