Kirsten (kmcripn) On this day in 2001, Rasipuram Krishnaswami Narayanaswami, better known under pen name R.K. Narayan, died. An Indian author, one of the three leading figures of early Indian literature in English, he brought the genre of fiction, mythology and non-fiction to the rest of the world.
