Emma (emmauk007) | 1081 comments If anyone has or knows of places where you can downlaod free e-books then please mention them here, that way everyone can enjoy.

4SHARED Is a great place to download books from. Its basically an online virtual hardrive where you can upload books and any media and give your friends the link and they can dowload any content they like. You can also just do a search on the site itself.

Another good one is WATTPAD.COM
SCRIBD
INTEXBLOGGER
www.Libraryofdoom.webs.com
THE BOOKS BAY
PROJECT GUTENBERG

Enjoy and happy reading!!

Oh my, well if anyone finds it please shout, i'll go search again too!

Lauren Smith I think I've found Doomed Love - it seems to be the first four books of The Aeneid, which is very easy to find online. Go to the Wikipedia page, there are a few links there.

I think its a collection of stories, not just from The Aeneid. Think I'm going to order it: http://www.take2.co.za/books-doomed-l...

I think you might be confusing Doomed Love with the Penguin Great Loves series that it's part of. I checked a couple of reviews and they all say that Doomed Love is the first four books of the Aeniad. The plot summary suggests the same.

Penguin Great Loves is a series of short books (like the Pocket Penguins) on literature about love. I've seen ones from Freud, John Updike, and Vladimir Nabokov as well.

Just thought I'd let you know in case you're expecting a thick book of stories when you're only going to get a thin one with an extract from a longer text.

I was searching far and wide for what exactly is in the book but couldn't find it. But you just made life so much easier and cheaper! Thanks :)

I have those links to the first 4 books of the Aeniad if anyone wants it?

message 15: by Lauren (new)

Lauren Smith No problem :)
The book's very pretty but frankly I think it's a bit of a rip-off. They never tell you where the text comes from, I only got that info from reader's reviews.

Still, I would like to have the whole set...

Tracy (tracymm) | 43 comments I found a site http://www.free-ebooks.net that has mostly unknown authors. Registration is free and you get 5 downloads a month - pay and you get more.
They DO however have Alice in Wonderland. So I hope that gets to BOM in March.

ETA: they also have some classics... but since I stick to my guns I havn't a clue who some of these authors are; famous ones stick out though: like Wuthering Heights.
