Sherrie Miranda (sherriemiranda) | 75 comments Is there a place to get advice on how to use Amazon for pricing and sales as well as give-aways? I was getting ready to pay for a give-away when I saw it was going to cost me $500.
I was not sure I was ready to pay that kind of money. In fact, it's kind of funny. Some of my friends think I am pushing my book to make money when that couldn't be further from the truth. (Maybe they don't know me as well as I thought they did!)
I have spent around $4,000 on this book and have made around $300. My concern is that the book be read as it is about an important historical event that most people know nothing about.
Thanks for any advice you can offer.

Madam, its pathetic the lust and inquisitiveness in reads that has erotica or violence theme!
I believe, mature and good people, reviewer or authors who like moral, inspiring, faith and historical or educative reads EXIST HERE AND THERE!

$500 is too much to pay for promotions. There are some cheaper ways to do it. Inbox me and I'll share some of the things I found out. Looking forward to talking with you.

BR Kingsolver (brkingsolver) | 11 comments There are a lot of things you can do to promote a book without spending that kind of money. Find book bloggers who read in the area you're writing in and offer them your book for reviews. I would also check history websites, etc. Also check history groups here on GR to find people who might be interested. As for paid promotions, you can probably advertise on history web sites cheaper than that.
