I loved this book. and it looks like I am really behind on my challenge, so I have to get those pages turning!

This was interesting in that it is a historical fiction memoir about Frank Lloyd Wright's mistress and one great love. It made me curious about the architect and what was true/made-up in the novel.

This was about as good as The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime. If you liked that book, read this one. I, however, cared very little for both.

Classic JCO I really enjoyed reading this while driving cross country. quick interesting read making a long drive fly by!
14: On Call in Hell By LCDR Richard Jadick (PL)
My husband and I listened to this together. a great story of courage and strength during the Battle of Fallujah!

17: The Haunting of Hill House by Shirley Jackson (RC 66)

Enjoyed listening to this. Witty and entertaining!

I just could not get through this. but I am counting it anyway as 800 of the 1050 were read.

I started this about 5 years ago while taking a Writing Short Fiction class at the College of Charleston. and I picked it back up to finish the unread stories about a year ago. I have been slowly working my way through it. And I must say that some of the stories I read on my own out-shone the ones my professor assigned.

35: Black Girl/White Girl by Joyce Carol Oates (PL)
