For the TV show challenge I'd like to use True Blood however I am currently on book 5 in the series and the TV show is only based on the first 2 books. Can I still read the 5th book for this challenge?

5.6 - Dirty Jobs: All Creatures Great and Small? James Herriot is a rural vet... My husband and I are watching the 1978 British TV show on Netflix, and he is CONSTANTLY having to put his whole arm up cows... rear ends... BLEGH!!! My husband is going to be a vet, but I COULD NOT DO THAT!

15.3 - What Women Want: The fiction book... it has to be part of a series? Two books in a row count as a "series", right?

25.10 - Color Title: Silver? Or is that too drab?

10.4 - FYI, Donna Jo, Jan the Gryphon, and Teresa in Ohio all have their profiles set as private. I found other books to read, but I'm sure mystery readers would really love to choose off Teresa's shelves, etc...

I am known to be dyslexic with both hands, so I am in need of help on the 15.5 READERS ROUND THE WORLD UNITE. When I go to the page (http://www.goodreads.com/user/near_me) and select Jamaica (J for Jan) and select Meet People. The computer shows a list starting with someone living in Texas. So I don't actually read a book from a person in Jamaica?

Am I supposed to be selecting something besides Meet People? or am I not going to the correct page? or am I going to need Goodreads for Dummies?

Would this book work for Task 5.3: Women Leaders of Nations? According to my library website (which is where I found it), the book is about Cleopatra, Queen Isabella (of Spain, I assume), Queen Elizabeth I, Catherine the Great, Queen Victoria, Golda Meir (Israel), Margaret Thatcher, and Benazir Bhutto...

NOTE: I assumed it was a juvie nonfiction book, but it's actually adult nonfiction... if that makes any difference...

The Stupidest Angel A Heartwarming Tale of Christmas Terror Version 2 0 work is fine it's satirical so it counts, and yes that would be fine for 15.8

For the Royal Reading task can the monarch be fictional (e.g. The Snow Queen or Lord Of The Rings)?

Hi Cynthia, regarding task 5.8 BABY IT'S COLD OUTSIDE. Can I read a book by Charles Finch for a cozy mystery? Here's a description of A Beautiful Blue Death:

The one book listed on the December list that is weird is THE LOVELY BONES which was written many years ago, so it should be available. I also was wondering about how to get the books--good thing we can use other dates.
