Thanks, Cynthia. I'll look for something. Does anyone have any ideas concerning a who done it type mystery. I was thinking The Shadow of the Wind. Does that work? I have been wanting to read it! Thanks.

I LOVE Sequence as well. I'm interested to see if some titles pop up for that game.

Cheating at Canasta Stories
Goldfinger
Lucky in the Corner A Novel

Uno is one is Spanish so how about Spanish fiction with the word one in the title
One Hundred Years of Solitude
No One Said a Word A Novel
Only One Thing Missing
No One Will See Me Cry

But I think that would be up to Cynthia to decide. I could be wrong since I haven't finished SotW.

You could always go with a book with the word clue in the title such as...
A Clue for the Puzzle Lady
Get A Clue
Minerva Clark Gets a Clue (YA)
The Unfinished Clue
The Dark Clue A Novel

Has anyone chosen to use scrabble or Monopoly and found any good books for those games? Those three were always the favorites in my house growing up.

Melissa-
I'm a Monopoly fan, reading A House for Mr. Biswas by V.S. Naipaul. I don't know if it's good though. It's a "time to get it of my TBR list" read, for me. I've tried to read it a couple of times and haven't gotten past the second page, but I'm gonna try it again!
Cynthia okayed it on the basis that it is about acquiring real estate, so I would assume any book about trying to buy a house/building would work.

A Judgment in Stone - yes
Alias, Grace - not really
The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo - yes
Haunted - no

Word Nerd - When some bullies at his new school almost kill him by slipping a peanut into his sandwich, friendless nerd Ambrose, forced to be home-schooled by his overprotective mother, coerces his neighbor Cosmo into taking him to the West Side Scrabble Club, where people accept him for who he is.
A Stranger in the Earth A Novel - Arriving in London to work for his great uncle at the local newspaper, Horace Littlefair is unprepared, overdressed, and underpaid for what awaits him when he is hurled into a world of love, racism, blackmail, political intrigue, and Scrabble, where disaster follows his every step.

Farkle is the only other game I play regularly, but I'm coming up with nothing there.

Should I read a Beatles book perhaps? Or one about a rock band?

I would say about the Beatles if you can.

I'd take High Stakes.

Hooray! Now I just need to find one in my library =)

Great thanks!

I assume this is a version of Gin Rummy - going on that assumption here are a few books where that game is part of the plot...
Downers Grove
Kalooki Nights A Novel - Kalooki is another version of rummy
Rummy is also an adjective that means a drunkard so a book about an alcoholic would work.

Sure.

I love to play Bunco and play at least once a month. Can I read Whack 'N' Roll A Bunco Babes Mystery for this task?

What kind of books can I read for them?

Ancient Empires -
The Last Secret of the Temple
Temple
The Rosetta Codex

Also, The Legend of Zelda and Philosophy by Luke Cuddy
(I really liked Challenge of the Ancint Empires--a game I could actually play decently.)

Anyway, considering the vein of the suggestions, could I use The Egyptologist A Novel?

sure

Rebecca,
Scroll through the posts-- around #58-63 Cynthia discusses with Melissa types of murder-mystery books that would be acceptable if your favorite game is Clue.
