Ok if you like vampire books and think there's a none vamp book that's good recommend it also I'll probably give it a try.

Scanguards Vampires by Tina Folsom
Group of vampires who run a security company, erotic, funny and carry over very bdb-ish.


Awakened by Blood by Marie Treanor
Ancient vampire who was staked hundreds of years ago is awakened by a graduate student in Romania.


Elemental Mysteries by Elizabeth Hunter
Fantastic story teller...book archivist meets up with a ancient book dealer who happens to be a vampire...world travel, very detailed plot and plenty of angst. unique twist on vamps taking on the elements.


The Protectors by Theresa Gabelman
This is a BDB/Midnight Breed b-story, not quite as good but not bad.


Conversion by S.C. Stephens
Very different story of vampire coming of age romance. The good, the bad and the ugly of it.


Dominion by S.E. Lund
WOW....vampires more like they are portrayed in history....can you trust them? still sexy and deadly.


Warm Delicacy by Megan Duncan
YA or rather new adult (light on sex/nothing graphic) of an elite vampire world...very good story line.


Penton Legacy by Suzannah Sandlin
Nice series each book centered on a different vamp.


Midnight Breed by Lara Adrian
This is BDB II....excellent series which keeps getting better.


Odds & Ends

I would recommend
they have a slow paced romance in them but they are writen really good.
Two huge bonuses for me are that they have a very unique "vapire creation process" and slow caracter devepment.

The Black Dagger Brotherhood by J.R. Ward is a great series to stay hooked on till the highest volume.

LOL, I struggled with Book 11, , and decided to stop. I purchased Books 12 and 13; who knows when I'll read them.

If you haven't already, give The Morganville Vampires a chance! It's young adult at first, but it progresses throughout the series. There's 15 books, so that should keep you occupied for a while :)

A quick feel-good PNR is A Bite's Tale. It's a retelling of cinderella with a paranormal twist. It has vampires and werewolves!

I don't see the Chicagoland Vampire series by Chloe Neill listed. It's a little more Urban Fantasy, than PNR, but there is still some SEXY ROMANCE!

Not sure if this is kosher or not, but if anyone is offended I'll remove my post. I wrote a PNR featuring a centuries-old male vampire from Ireland and the second book in the series is coming out later this summer.

As a reader, I was in LOVE with this series. As a writer, I was so envious that I didn't come up with that world. I definitely double-recommend this series. So much goodness.

I second Morganville and A Bite's Tale. They're both excellent books! Captured and Tall, Dark & Lonely are also two great series to give a try.
