Book Nook Cafe discussion

Mel, i am one who likes the way Cormac McCarthy writes, even though i am often uncomfortable with what he writes. It's interesting to look at the list again. I wouldn't put McCarthy's book on top, either.

There are still a number I have only seen mentioned on this list, and nowhere else, such as Art Spiegelman's book, Maus, which GR lists in a sort of compendium, The Complete Maus. And this illustrates why I'm leery of this list, as many noted above. Still, it was informative to read what others thought of it, as well as the books themselves.
